Robbie Williams fan dies after falling down six rows of seats

A Robbie Williams fan in her 70s died after she fell down 6 rows of seats at a concert in Sydney. She fell during the concert, which took place on November 16 at Allianz Stadium. She suffered several head injuries. She was taken to a hospital immediately and was placed in an induced coma. She died on Tuesday. 

The British singer has not commented on the incident. It took place after the concert was over. Fans were exiting the venue. Reportedly, instead of using the stairs, the woman attempted to step over seating rows, lost her footing and fell. The stadium spokesperson said, “This is a terribly sad incident and our thoughts and wishes are with the patron and their family during this time,” BBC reported.

About 40,000 people attended the concert. Williams’ next concert will take place in Melbourne. Williams took to social media network X to thank his fans. He wrote, “Sydney: that was an unforgettable evening, thank you – I love you, Australia.”

On November 19, a Taylor Swift fan fell and died during her concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado died of a cardiac arrest. Her family is demanding answers after reports emerged that patrons weren’t allowed to bring water bottles to the venue, despite the heatwave conditions. Paying a tribute to the fan, Swift wrote on Instagram, “She was so incredibly beautiful and far too young”.
